When validation fails — fixing it
Diagnose Tier 1 and Deploy-time Tier 2 failures, review evidence, repair the current package, and rerun the required checks.

When a quality check fails, open the assignment and read the observed failure. CodeTeach does not turn a failed check into a passing result or silently change instructor-owned material.
Failure on Review & Edit
Tier 1 runs after instruction approval. Inspect the failing test, actual output, solution error, timeout, or dependency message. Correct the solution, test, input, or dependency contract according to the intended assignment. Do not change expected output merely to make a broken solution pass. Review the complete package, approve it again, and rerun quality validation.
Failure during Deploy
Tier 2 builds and runs the GitHub-style autograder before publication. An artifact-side failure returns you to Review with evidence. A workflow-builder failure may be a CodeTeach issue; retry once if it looks transient, then contact support with the assignment URL. There is no supported path to bypass the builder by editing generated YAML in the app.
Manual edit or AI Wizard
Use manual editing for exact control. The AI Wizard may propose a targeted change, but you review it before applying. An accepted change reruns complete-package QA; inspect the new verdict and reapprove the current package as required.
A ZIP fallback appears only when the exact bundle passed Tier 2 and GitHub publication failed afterward. Check common failure messages.
