Choose Both Provided when you already have student starter code and a working instructor solution. CodeTeach keeps the supplied code as instructor-owned material and creates tests and student instructions around it.
Supply both versions
Use the Starter Code and Solution Code inputs. Keep filenames, the entry point, imports, function interfaces, and input/output format compatible between them. The student version should contain clear TODOs; the instructor version should run correctly without placeholders or debug output.
Review generated grading
Run the solution on representative inputs before generation. CodeTeach derives test expectations by observing its behavior, so a solution bug can be encoded in the tests. On Review & Edit, inspect the generated tests and instructions, add missing edge cases, and confirm the point allocation. Difficulty still controls instructional disclosure and starter scaffolding.
Approve the instructions and run quality validation. Deploy then constructs and checks the GitHub Actions autograder before publishing private instructor repositories. Learn how to edit tests.
