Downloading the assignment ZIP

CodeTeach offers a ZIP of the exact assignment bundle that passed Deploy-time grading checks. A normal download becomes available after GitHub publication and its real post-push validation pass. If Tier 2 passed but GitHub publication itself failed, the error card may offer Download ZIP instead for that same attested bundle.

What to expect

The ZIP includes student starter files, Instructions.md, README.md, tests, the generated GitHub Actions grading workflow, and an instructor solution directory. The precise solution directory name can vary if a student file uses the usual name.

Protect the answer key

Before manually publishing a starter repository, follow Copy Setup Instructions and move the answer-key directory out of the starter tree. Check hidden files, Git history, branches, workflow paths, and the GitHub main branch before marking the repository as a template. Keep the solution in a separate private repository or instructor-only branch. Never give students access to the template or include all branches when creating their repos.

Tier 1 alone never unlocks a ZIP. A failed Tier 2 bundle is not a manual bypass. Read the Deploy guide.
